The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) recorded 117 districts/cities with weekly tracing rates above the national average, currently recorded at 3.01 percent as of Wednesday, September 7, 2022.
The top five districts/cities with tracing rates exceeding 21 percent are Metro City, Semarang City, Mojokerto City, Mojokerto Regency, and Asahan Regency, with values of 29.2 percent, 24.2 percent, 24 percent, 21 percent, and 21 percent respectively.
A recapitulation of national Covid-19 data from the Ministry of Health shows that tracing in most districts/cities outside Java has decreased. Daily tracing rates higher than previous days were recorded in 20 districts/cities, while 35 districts/cities recorded lower tracing rates.
Areas outside Java with the highest tracing rates include Metro City, Asahan Regency, and Aceh Selatan Regency, with tracing rates of 29.2 percent, 21 percent, and 20 percent respectively.
Although Covid-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce Covid-19 transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining physical distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
