The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) notes that at least one regency/city has a weekly BOR above 60%. Nationally, the average BOR this week is 3.84 percent. This average is down compared to last week's four percent, according to data from Saturday, October 1, 2022.
The top five regencies/cities with COVID-19 BOR above 37.5 percent are Fakfak, Southwest Maluku, Majene, Gorontalo, and East Manggarai, with values of 100 percent, 40.48 percent, 39.29 percent, 38.1 percent, and 37.5 percent, respectively.
A national COVID-19 data recapitulation from the Ministry of Health shows that the BOR in most regencies/cities outside Java has decreased. A daily BOR higher than the previous day was recorded in 56 regencies/cities, while 82 regencies/cities recorded a lower BOR.
Areas outside Java with the highest BOR include Fakfak, Southwest Maluku, and Majene, with BORs of 100 percent, 40.48 percent, and 39.29 percent, respectively.
Although COVID-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce COVID-19 transmission by always wearing masks, maintaining distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
