Household expenditure on green mustard greens in North Minahasa Regency in 2023 was Rp104.77 per capita per week. This figure is higher than the previous year's expenditure, which was recorded at Rp104.41 per capita per week.

The five largest household expenditures on vegetables in North Minahasa Regency, in descending order, were: chili peppers (Rp3,650.87 per capita per week), garlic (Rp2,738 per capita per week), shallots (Rp1,176.65 per capita per week), cherry tomatoes (Rp1,061.53 per capita per week), and the lowest expenditure was on sour vegetable/lodeh ingredients (package) at Rp5.92 per capita per week.

Average per capita expenditure is the cost incurred for the consumption of all household members over a month, including purchases, gifts, and self-produced goods, divided by the number of household members. Household consumption is categorized into food and non-food consumption, regardless of the origin of the goods, and is limited to household needs only, excluding consumption/expenditure for business purposes or given to other parties.

Expenditure on food consumption is calculated weekly, while non-food consumption is calculated monthly and for the past 12 months. Both food and non-food consumption are then converted into average monthly expenditure. The average per capita consumption/expenditure figures presented in BPS publications are obtained by dividing the total consumption of all households (both consuming food and not) by the total population.

Based on region, the highest household expenditure on green mustard greens was in Tolikara Regency, and the lowest was in Banggai Kepulauan Regency. North Minahasa Regency ranked 428th in terms of expenditure on green mustard greens. Meanwhile, the national average per capita expenditure on green mustard greens is Rp257 per capita per week.
