The top five districts/cities with rates exceeding 11.57 per 100,000 population/week are Kupang City, Tomohon City, Singkawang City, Mimika, and Teluk Bintuni, with respective values of 21.93, 16.3, 14.18, 12.62, and 11.57 per 100,000 population/week.
National Covid-19 data recapitulation from the Ministry of Health shows a decrease in positive confirmations in most districts/cities outside Java. 80 districts/cities recorded higher daily positive confirmations than previously, while 83 districts/cities recorded lower positive confirmations.
Areas outside Java with the highest positive confirmation rates include Kupang City, Tomohon City, and Singkawang City, with positive confirmations of 21.93, 16.3, and 14.18 per 100,000 population/week, respectively.
Although Covid-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce Covid-19 transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
