The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) notes that 298 regencies/cities have a complete vaccination coverage above the national average, which is currently recorded at 66.72 percent (data as of Friday, October 28, 2022).
The top five regencies/cities with complete vaccination rates exceeding 128.87 percent are Yogyakarta City (196.08 percent), Central Jakarta City (184.81 percent), Denpasar City (140.73 percent), South Jakarta City (139.41 percent), and Magelang City (128.87 percent).
A national Covid-19 data recapitulation from the Ministry of Health shows an increase in complete vaccination coverage in most regencies/cities outside Java. A daily increase in complete vaccination coverage compared to the previous day was recorded in 138 regencies/cities, while one regency/city recorded lower complete vaccination coverage.
Some of the areas outside Java with the highest complete vaccination rates include Denpasar City (140.73 percent), Padang Panjang City (118.64 percent), and Badung Regency (111.69 percent).
Although Covid-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce Covid-19 transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining physical distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
