The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) recorded 316 regencies/cities with complete vaccination coverage based on ID cards above the national average, currently recorded at 65.59 percent as of Saturday, August 13, 2022.
The top five regencies/cities with complete vaccination rates exceeding 95.98 percent are Samosir, Yogyakarta City, Surakarta City, Tabanan, and Humbang Hasundutan, with values of 112.76 percent, 97.12 percent, 96.61 percent, 96.04 percent, and 95.98 percent, respectively.
The national Covid-19 data recapitulation from the Ministry of Health shows an increase in complete vaccination coverage in most regencies/cities outside Java. A daily increase in complete vaccination rates compared to the previous day was recorded in 305 regencies/cities.
Some of the areas outside Java with the highest complete vaccination rates include Samosir, Tabanan, and Humbang Hasundutan, with complete vaccination rates of 112.76 percent, 96.04 percent, and 95.98 percent, respectively.
Although Covid-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce Covid-19 transmission by always wearing masks, maintaining distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
