The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) notes that at least two regencies/cities have a weekly BOR above 60%. Nationally, the average BOR this week is 4.08 percent. This average is up from last week's 3.89 percent, based on data from Friday, September 23, 2022.
The top five regencies/cities with COVID-19 BOR above 35.71 percent are Gorontalo, Fakfak, East Belitung, East Manggarai, and Tasikmalaya, with values of 100 percent, 100 percent, 50 percent, 37.5 percent, and 35.71 percent respectively.
A national COVID-19 data recapitulation from the Ministry of Health shows that the BOR in most regencies/cities outside Java has decreased. A daily BOR higher than the previous day was recorded in 63 regencies/cities, while 82 regencies/cities recorded a lower BOR.
Areas outside Java with the highest BOR include Gorontalo, Fakfak, and East Belitung, with BORs of 100 percent, 100 percent, and 50 percent respectively.
Although COVID-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce COVID-19 transmission by always wearing masks, maintaining distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
