The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) recorded 205 districts/cities with a seven-day positivity rate above the national average, currently recorded at 11.9 percent (data as of Friday, November 4, 2022).
The top five districts/cities with a seven-day positivity rate exceeding 57.58 percent are Manokwari Selatan (100 percent), Toli Toli (78.38 percent), Bolaang Mongondow Selatan (71.43 percent), Halmahera Utara (68.18 percent), and Tojo Una Una (57.58 percent).
A recapitulation of national Covid-19 data from the Ministry of Health shows an increase in the seven-day positivity rate in most districts/cities outside Java. 181 districts/cities recorded a higher seven-day positivity rate than the previous day, while 120 districts/cities recorded a lower seven-day positivity rate.
Some of the areas outside Java with the highest seven-day positivity rates include Manokwari Selatan (100 percent), Toli Toli (78.38 percent), and Bolaang Mongondow Selatan (71.43 percent).
Although Covid-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce Covid-19 transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining physical distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
