Weekly Fruit Expenditure of Palembang City Residents

Household expenditure on pomelos in Palembang City in 2023 was Rp1,851.9 per capita per week. This figure is lower than the previous year's expenditure, which was recorded at Rp2,137.4 per capita per week.

The five largest household expenditures on fruit groups in Palembang City, from highest to lowest, were: pomelos at Rp1,851.9 per capita per week; papaya at Rp1,073.42 per capita per week; other bananas at Rp939.72 per capita per week; other fruits at Rp707.39 per capita per week; and the lowest expenditure was on langsat at Rp23.88 per capita per week.

Per capita expenditure is the cost incurred for the consumption of all household members over a month, divided by the number of household members. This expenditure can be grouped into two parts: food and non-food needs.
