Expenditure of Mataram City Residents on Glutinous Rice: Rp35,75 per Capita per Week

The average expenditure of people in Mataram City for purchasing glutinous rice in 2023 was Rp35.75 per capita per week. This value increased compared to the previous year's expenditure, which was recorded at Rp33.24 per capita per week.

The five largest expenditures of residents for the cereal group in Mataram City, from the highest order of spending, are: superior quality rice (Rp18,850 per capita per week), fresh corn with husks (Rp498.75 per capita per week), wheat flour (Rp269.24 per capita per week), shelled corn/corn rice/corn grits (Rp57.35 per capita per week), and the lowest expenditure is for glutinous rice (Rp35.75 per capita per week).

Average per capita expenditure is the cost incurred for the consumption of all household members for a month, whether from purchases, gifts, or self-production, divided by the number of household members.
