The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) noted that at least two regencies/cities have a weekly BOR above 60%. Nationally, the average BOR this week is 7.1 percent. This average is higher than last week's 5.72 percent, based on data from Saturday, November 5, 2022.
The top five regencies/cities with the highest COVID-19 BOR exceeding 54.17 percent are Fakfak, East Belitung, Tasikmalaya, Majene, and Toli-Toli, with values of 100 percent, 78.95 percent, 59.52 percent, 55.36 percent, and 54.17 percent respectively.
A national COVID-19 data recapitulation from the Ministry of Health shows an increase in the BOR in most regencies/cities outside Java. A daily BOR higher than the previous day was recorded in 103 regencies/cities, while 51 regencies/cities recorded a lower BOR.
Areas outside Java with the highest BOR include Fakfak, East Belitung, and Majene, with BORs of 100 percent, 78.95 percent, and 55.36 percent respectively.
Although COVID-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce COVID-19 transmission by always wearing masks, maintaining distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
