The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) recorded 115 districts/cities with weekly tracing rates above the national average, currently recorded at 3.01 percent as of Saturday, September 3, 2022.
The top five districts/cities with tracing rates exceeding 20.86 percent are Metro City, Mojokerto City, Semarang City, Situbondo, and Pasuruan City, with values of 30.75 percent, 24.4 percent, 23.57 percent, 23 percent, and 20.86 percent respectively.
A national Covid-19 data recapitulation from the Ministry of Health shows that tracing in most districts/cities outside Java has decreased. Daily tracing rates higher than previous days were recorded in 20 districts/cities, while 25 districts/cities recorded lower tracing rates.
Areas outside Java with the highest tracing rates include Metro City, South Tapanuli, and Balikpapan City, with tracing rates of 30.75 percent, 20 percent, and 20 percent respectively.
Although Covid-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce Covid-19 transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining physical distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
