Top 10 Regencies/Cities with the Highest Confirmed Positive Cases Nationally (Saturday, February 11, 2023)

The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) recorded 151 districts/cities with a weekly agglomeration of confirmed positive COVID-19 cases above the national average, currently recorded at 0.24 per 100,000 population/week (data as of Saturday, February 11, 2023).

The top five districts/cities with confirmed positive cases exceeding 2.18 per 100,000 population/week are Bekasi City, Bogor City, Depok City, Bogor Regency, and Central Jakarta City, each with a value of 2.18 per 100,000 population/week.

National COVID-19 data recapitulation from the Ministry of Health shows a decrease in confirmed positive cases in most districts/cities outside Java. Twelve districts/cities recorded higher daily confirmed positive cases than before, while 25 districts/cities recorded lower confirmed positive cases.

Areas outside Java with the highest confirmed positive case values include Kupang City, Raja Ampat, and North Penajam Paser, with confirmed positive cases of 2.08, 1.96, and 1.87 per 100,000 population/week, respectively.

Although COVID-19 transmission has decreased in some areas, the government urges everyone to help reduce COVID-19 transmission by consistently wearing masks, maintaining physical distance, and frequently washing hands with soap and running water. Avoiding crowds and reducing mobility also contribute to suppressing the spread of the coronavirus.
