World's Most Expensive NFTs, Some Reaching Rp 1.3 Trillion

The popularity of Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) has surged recently. Investors and collectors from around the globe are eager to participate in these digital assets on the blockchain system, willing to spend significant sums to acquire them.

According to Business Insider, the most expensive NFT in the world by the end of 2021 was The Merge, priced at US$91.8 million, or approximately Rp 1.3 trillion (using an exchange rate of Rp 14,280/US$). Created by an anonymous artist known as Pak, The Merge sold remarkably quickly.

The next most expensive NFT was Everydays: The First 5000, sold for US$69 million (Rp 985.35 billion). This was followed by Human One and CryptoPunk 7523, priced at US$28.9 million (Rp 412.7 billion) and US$11.75 million (Rp 167.8 billion) respectively.

Furthermore, CryptoPunk 4156 sold for US$10.35 million (Rp 147.8 billion), and CryptoPunk 7804 for US$7.56 million (Rp 107.96 billion). CryptoPunk 3100 was sold for US$7.51 million (Rp 107.25 billion).

Meanwhile, the NFT Right-click and Save As guys sold for US$7.09 million (Rp 101.25 billion). Ringers 109 and Crossroad were sold for US$6.9 million (Rp 98.53 billion) and US$6.6 million (Rp 94.25 billion) respectively.
