Mondelez International reveals that the majority of global consumers consume one snack per day. This is included in the *2024 State of Snacking* survey conducted by The Harris Poll.

The survey found that 91% of respondents eat at least one snack per day. Meanwhile, 63% consume at least two snacks daily.

31% of respondents consume three snacks a day.

According to Mondelez International, 66% of respondents also admitted they couldn't live without snacks.

Findings from the 2024 survey, according to Mondelez International, show that snacking remains an affordable way for consumers to find small moments of satisfaction in their daily lives.

The survey found that 81% of consumers agree that snacking is done to find some quiet time for themselves. On the other hand, 80% of consumers also use snacks to reward themselves.

“People see snacking as a deserved treat and a way to unwind after a long day,” said Melissa Davies, Senior Manager, Global Insights & Trendspotting at Mondelez International, in a press release on Wednesday (April 9th).

The *2024 State of Snacking* survey was conducted online from October 10-22, 2024. It involved 3,785 respondents aged 18 and older.

The research covered markets in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, France, Germany, the United Kingdom, China, India, Indonesia, Australia, the Philippines, and Vietnam. Respondents were spread across various generations: Gen Z (18-27 years old), Millennials (28-43 years old), Gen X (43-59 years old), Boomers (60-78 years old), and the Silent Generation (79-96 years old).
