Here are the top fast-food brands in Indonesia in 2021. Which one is your favorite?

Almost all people worldwide enjoy the food and beverage menus from fast-food restaurants. According to YouGov's assessment, three American quick-service restaurant (QSR) brands were ranked as the best in Indonesia.

YouGov placed Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) at the top as the best fast-food brand in Indonesia in 2021. The brand founded by Colonel Sanders scored 37.3 points. Its rival, McDonald's, was ranked second with 30.6 points. Pizza Hut followed, successfully accumulating 28.6 points. YouGov also reported that McDonald's and KFC scores increased by 3.5 points from 2020.

Other American fast-food chains also made it into the top 10 best food brands in Indonesia. These are Burger King (16.8 points) and Starbucks (16.4 points).

Local fast-food brands were also included in this list, such as J.CO, which managed to be in the top five with 17.5 points. The brand, known for its donuts, coffee, and yogurt, was in fourth place. Hoka-Hoka Bento (HokBen) followed in seventh place with 16 points as the second leading local brand.

YouGov compiled the brand index based on several indicators consisting of impression, quality, value for money, satisfaction, recommendation, and reputation. The ranking of Indonesian QSR brands was calculated from March 1, 2020, to February 28, 2021.
