According to the Ministry of Agriculture (Kementan), the provisional figure for palm oil production in Indonesia in 2024 is 47.47 million tons in the form of palm oil.

Last year, the centers of palm oil production in the country were located on Sumatra and Kalimantan islands.

On Sumatra Island, palm oil production was concentrated in Riau, North Sumatra, South Sumatra, Jambi, and West Sumatra provinces.
