According to data from the Ministry of Agriculture, Indonesia produced 147.9 thousand tons of cloves in 2024.

The largest clove production came from Central Sulawesi, Maluku, South Sulawesi, Southeast Sulawesi, and North Sulawesi.

Combined, these 5 provinces contributed 61% of the total national clove production last year.

Clove production locations in Indonesia are spread across 34 provinces. Only 4 provinces do not produce cloves: Jakarta, Riau, Central Kalimantan, and Highland Papua.
