Indonesia's Exports to the US in Q1 2025

According to a report by the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS), Indonesia's non-oil and gas exports to the United States (US) reached US$7.3 billion in the first quarter of 2025.

During this period, the main commodities exported from Indonesia to the US were electrical machinery and equipment (HS 85), valued at US$657.9 million, approximately 17% of total non-oil and gas exports to the US.

BPS also noted that the value of these exports surged by 17.65% year-on-year (yoy) compared to the first quarter of 2024.

The following is a complete list of Indonesian non-oil and gas commodities exported to the US in the first quarter of 2025:

1. Electrical machinery and equipment (HS 85): US$1.22 billion
2. Footwear (HS 64): US$657.9 million
3. Knitted clothing and accessories (HS 61): US$629.25 million
4. Non-knitted clothing and accessories (HS 62): US$568.46 million
5. Animal and vegetable fats and oils (HS 15): US$507.19 million
6. Furniture and lighting equipment (HS 94): US$410.48 million
7. Rubber and rubber products (HS 40): US$397.61 million
8. Fish and shrimp (HS 03): US$287.34 million
9. Mechanical machinery and equipment (HS 84): US$244.5 million
10. Cocoa and cocoa products (HS 18): US$235.94 million
11. Other commodities: US$2.15 billion
