This area is projected to decrease by 167,250 ha, or 1.64%, compared to 2023.
Indonesia's largest rice-harvesting areas are located on Java and Sumatra islands.
The largest harvest areas are estimated to be in East Java, Central Java, and West Java. The smallest are in the Papua Pegunungan, Riau Islands, and Southwest Papua.
