South Sumatra is Indonesia's Largest Robusta Coffee Producer

South Sumatra is the largest coffee producer in Indonesia. According to data from the Ministry of Agriculture, coffee production in this province reached 184,168 tons, all of which is robusta coffee. This production accounts for approximately a quarter of national coffee production, which reached 722,461 tons, consisting of 528,000 tons of robusta and 195,000 tons of arabica.

Meanwhile, the second largest coffee producer is Lampung, with production reaching 106,746 tons. This figure consists of 106,716 tons of robusta and 30 tons of arabica. The largest producers of arabica coffee are North Sumatra and Aceh, with 58,315 tons and 58,009 tons respectively.
