The TSR20 rubber price experienced its highest surge this week on Wednesday, August 7, 2024, at 0.96 percent. It has strengthened by 8.34 percent compared to its year-to-date position.

The current situation confirms the upward trend in TSR20 rubber prices over the past two days.

Over the past week, the TSR20 rubber price increased by 4.39 percent, with an average daily transaction price of US$166.5 per 100 kg. According to Katadata Insight Center (KIC) calculations, year-to-date (YTD), the TSR20 rubber price has risen by 8.34 percent. However, from its highest price this year of US$183.7 per 100 kg, the TSR20 rubber price has fallen by 8.06 percent.

Annually, the average trading price of TSR20 rubber over the past five years shows an upward trend. Meanwhile, monthly price monitoring shows an upward trend in transactions over the past 12 months. The highest average monthly price for the TSR20 rubber commodity was recorded in June 2024 at US$173.6 per 100 kg.
