Fish Farmers in These 10 Provinces Had the Highest Welfare in November 2021

The welfare of fish farmers in Southeast Sulawesi (Sultra) is recorded as the highest compared to the other 33 provinces. This is reflected in the Fish Farmer Exchange Rate (NTPi) of Sultra, which was at 111.02 in November 2021.

This figure increased by 1.66 percent from the previous month. The increase was driven by the index of the exchange rate received by fish farmers (it) increasing by 1.79%, while the index that had to be paid (ib) only increased by 0.13%.

An NTPi above 100 indicates that the welfare of fish farmers in Sultra increased by 11.02% from the index calculation, namely 2018=100.

Other provinces with the highest fish farmer welfare are Central Java with an NTPi of 110.5. Followed by West Java with an NTPi of 107.79, North Maluku 105.16, and DKI Jakarta 105.12.

Then, South Kalimantan has an NTPi score of 104.71. After that, there is West Sulawesi with an NTPi of 104.71, South Sulawesi with an NTPi of 104.68, and North Kalimantan and Aceh with NTPi of 104.16 and 103.9 respectively.
