According to data from the Food & Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), Indonesia is the world's largest coconut producer.

Throughout 2022, Indonesia's coconut production volume reached 17.19 million tons, with a total production value of US$2.80 billion, or approximately Rp44.38 trillion (assuming Rp15,850 per US$).

Also from tropical countries, the Philippines and India follow, producing 14.93 million tons and 13.31 million tons of coconuts, respectively.

The FAO recorded that throughout 2022, Indonesia exported 664,640 tons of coconuts with a total value of US$163.18 million.
