Today's Food Prices (09/12) in Central Java: Rice and Egg Prices Up

The prices of several food commodities in Central Java today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

According to data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Needs Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Tuesday (9/12/2025) at 15:31 WIB, out of 16 commodities, 7 showed an increase and 1 showed a decrease.

Commodities with price increases include red onion, Honan garlic, red cayenne pepper, large red chili, and medium rice.

Meanwhile, only hindquarter beef decreased compared to yesterday's price.

Curly red chili commodity surged the highest by Rp3,278 (5.3%) to Rp65,167 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of hindquarter beef decreased the most by Rp186 (0.14%) to Rp131,481 per kg.
